Step 1. Fire up the Big Green Egg to 350°F with your JJGeorge Grill Torch and setup grill for indirect heat.  We added 3 Barrel Proof bourbon barrel smoking chunks to our charcoal to give our pecans a little extra smoky bourbon flavor.

Step 2. Melt butter and add all ingredients above (Except Pecans) to a medium size bowl and whisk together to make some of the finest tasting glaze on earth!

Step 3.  Pour bag of pecans into cast iron skillet (make sure that your skillet will fit into your grill with the lid closed). Now top the pecans with your buttery maple bourbon glaze and stir to coat the pecans.

Step 4.  Smoke pecans on Egg in cast iron skillet.  Toss after the first 10 minutes and then every 5-8 minutes afterward until the liquid in the glaze has evaporated and the pecans are left with a candied coating.

Step 5. Remove skillet from your Big Green Egg and let the pecans cool and harden.

Now its time to enjoy these tasty treats and share them with family and friends!
